No attorney-client relationship
Our audits, workshops, and advisory services are business and technology services. They do not create an attorney-client relationship with Showalter AI Consulting or with any lawyer who works with it, even though our consultants are practicing lawyers. Communications with us are not protected by the attorney-client privilege, and recipients of our services do not receive the protections that the rules of professional conduct give to clients of a lawyer, including the rules on confidentiality and conflicts of interest.
Separate from Showalter PLLC
Showalter AI Consulting is a separate business from Showalter PLLC, a law firm with which our consultants are affiliated. Engaging Showalter AI Consulting does not make you a client of Showalter PLLC, and nothing on this site is an offer of legal services by Showalter PLLC or by any lawyer.
Not an opinion on compliance
Our work addresses how legal teams use AI tools in their workflows. It is not an opinion on whether any practice complies with the rules of professional conduct, data-protection or privacy law, court rules, or client requirements. For those questions, consult counsel of your choosing.
