Michael Showalter teaches lawyers to work with frontier AI models the way he does in his own practice: with real preparation, iterative direction, built-in self-checks, and human review at the points that matter. He is a practicing appellate and complex commercial litigator and the founding partner of Showalter PLLC. He previously practiced in the Washington, D.C. offices of Gibson Dunn and Wiley Rein.

Michael has written law review articles on law and AI published with the Notre Dame Law Review, Ohio State Law Journal, and SMU Law Review. An X.com article he wrote in March 2026 explaining how he drafts with Claude was viewed more than 160,000 times.

He is a graduate of Yale Law School and the University of Michigan, and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Chandler Harris brings the same approach to corporate and transactional work: AI-assisted diligence, agreement review and comparison, and drafting built on reusable templates and skills, with a lawyer responsible for every judgment call. He is a corporate and transactional lawyer and a partner at Showalter PLLC, and previously practiced at Sullivan & Cromwell, Carlton Fields, and Squire Patton Boggs.

He works with teams on the operational side of AI adoption: mapping workflows, building template and skill libraries, and setting review points that make AI output dependable enough to use.
